The Role
We are seeking a Back End Developer to join the OASIS Technology organisation. You will be responsible for working as part of an internal development team to create and release software products, using modern architecture, processes, and tools, supporting our clients to manage their digital information and streamline their business processes using SaaS solutions. This role would ideally suit candidates in the early stages of their career with the necessary skills detailed below.
For this role you should have the ability to travel to our Winchester office on an as and when required basis. Therefore, this office must be within commutable distance from your home location.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the internal development team to build and improve the web applications by building new features and ongoing BAU.
- Focus on the Back End and bring new features/enhancements to life for our clients.
- Work closely with the Front End Developer and UX Designer to deliver the complete feature.
- Keep up to date with best practice development toolsets and the ability to master new/ emerging technologies.
- Any other additional duties as deemed necessary to support the business.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working in Agile (Sprints, Daily Stand-up’s, Retros etc).
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of API’s, Microservices and Containers.
- Experience of developing or working with the following toolsets:
o .Net Core
o Elastic Search
o Minio
o RabbitMQ
o Redis
o SQL Server
- Experience in code quality tools such as SonarCloud.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Linux is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with managing/developing Wordpress Sites is preferred but not essential.
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
