Job Title: Back-End Developer

Location: Remote Working

Contract Type: 6 Months Initial Contract

Pay Rate: £450-600 per day

Security Clearance: SC Active

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Java (at least Java 11), Spring framework, Spring Boot, JavaScript, NodeJS, and REST API design/build. Additionally, experience with Docker containers, problem determination, effective communication skills, and agile team working are essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end services and applications using Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
• Design and build REST APIs to support front-end functionality and integration with other services.
• Utilize Docker containers for application deployment and management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in Java (at least Java 11)
• Strong experience with Spring framework and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS
• Expertise in REST API design and development
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers
• Problem determination and production support experience
• Effective written and spoken communication skills
• Agile team working experience
