They are looking for a Back-End Node.JS Developer who is passionate about merging education and technology to create a modern learning platform with worldwide accessibility. You will be working in a small team to maintain and improve current infrastructure whilst being a major player in the development of exciting future applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for client-server communication
- Enhance database architecture for scalability in a CMS
- Test and maintain backend infrastructure, APIs, and database functionality
- Design and develop robust backend foundations for web projects and system improvements
- Optimize database queries for efficient data retrieval with error handling
Requirements:
- Highly proficient in Node.JS
- Experience in managing databases – PostgreSQL and AWS
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial backend dev environment
- Confident in independent working
Nice to have:
- Any of the following stack: ThreeJS; Go; Git; SourceTree; Typescript; Bitbucket; MBaaS
