AddressBackend Developer (PHP Laravel API) Cardiff / WFH to £65k
Do you have strong PHP backend development skills and exposure across the full tech stack? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role for a digital transformation consultancy / agency, working on a range of complex and interesting projects.
As a Backend Developer you will work on a project for a long-term client to migrate functionality to more modern tech stacks including the optimisation, evolution and continual extension of the client's complex and high traffic web application in the leisure / active lifestyle space. You'll architect solutions to complex problems and take ownership of a product, feature or task, seeing it through from concept through to production.
WFH Policy:
You'll join colleagues in the Cardiff office 1-2 days a week with flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.
Requirements:
You have strong PHP development skills, with Laravel framework experience
You have experience of building and evolving complex web applications, APIs and performant data storage solutions
You have strong problem solving skills and are able to prototype and develop new concepts to solve business and technical problems
You have unit testing experience and experience of using TDD
Ideally you will also be familiar with AWS or Azure cloud based services' other tech in the stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, React, Redux, Gatsby, Cypress, Protractor so experience with any of these would also be great but if not, you can pick up on the job where necessary
You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
