We prioritise aptitude not knowledge, although we would like to see experience of solving large and complex problems in an application development domain. We are not looking for a list of specific programming languages on your CV but experience of more than one language would be an advantage. As would specific experience in the languages/technologies listed below.
We are looking for people with a focus on delivering solutions to our customers, a genuine passion for problem solving, coding, and who enjoy being challenged. An interest in Data Science would be an advantage but is not essential. Experience with working in agile teams and CI/CD environments is beneficial.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Modern Java or Go programming.
- Familiarity with working in agile teams and CI/CD environments.
- Willingness to cross-train in new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Data Science concepts or tools.
- Experience in both Go and Java
- Skills in AWS Glue, Spark, Python, IAC (particularly Terraform), or Kubernetes.
- Experience in DevOps practices, including building, testing, deploying code, as well as monitoring and debugging in production environments.
- Familiarity with additional technologies such as TypeScript, NodeJS, React.
