In this role, the successful Backend PHP Developer will be working on both existing and new projects, primarily involving the companies e-commerce store including writing and supporting API's which help facilitate various functionality across the site.

This role would suit an experienced Backend PHP Developer with a good understanding of the practical implications of software design when it comes to database design, indexing and caching.

The Role

• Maintenance of existing and development of new websites and web-services
• Responsible for clean, readable, and well documented code
• Work as part of a busy team in a dynamic and highly creative environment
• Hybrid working

The Person

• Proficient knowledge of modern Object-Oriented programming languages (PHP)
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases
