Job Description:
We are looking for a team member to assist in the production of delicious, baked goods. You will prepare ingredients for the production and assembly of baked produce, such as flour, butter, and sugar. Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly and follow instructions. We are open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as well.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Follow recipe steps to prepare ingredients for baking
- Operate a bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and mixers
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and kitchen equipment
- Assembly of pastries such as cutting the layers of dough
- Setting up production stations with all necessary ingredients and baking ingredients (flour, sugar, butter)
- Maintain a clean work area while working in the kitchen areas (e.g., utensils)
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at all times
- Ensure that production areas are kept clean at all times
Experience working in a pastry kitchen is preferred but not required. We are open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as well.
