- Bakery based, MON-FRI- 9am-6pm, with some flexibility required.
- To communicate production plan to the operations team and monitor progress throughout the day.
- Supervise the factory to ensure that 100% service level is achieved for all customers where possible.
- Manage the receipt, filing & issuing of customer orders to the lines.
- Monitor finished product stock holding and rotation.
- Ensure Quality Management Systems are fully implemented thus ensuring that products manufactured / packed are safe and meet relevant legislation and customer requirements.
- Ensuring safe working practices are adopted in accordance with relevant health & safety and food legislation.
- Provide training for the staff.
- Liaise with Production Management across all levels on a daily basis to update on production performance to plan and detail wastage, downtime, over usage etc.
- To provide leadership and take responsibility for the bakery operatives.
- To carry out any reasonable request made of you by your Manager.
- To finish the shift and prepare everything for the next day.
