Job summary

The Private and Overseas Patient team are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their friendly team based at the world renowned Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The successful candidate will ensure all overseas and private patients are identified, interviewed and invoiced as appropriate in line with local and national guidelines.

Excellent communication skills are essential as the post holder will be dealing with complex and sensitive information on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A good standard (minimum GCSE) of general education is required. Maths and English grade C passes essential.
  • Must possess significant IT skills including Microsoft

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years in a large healthcare organisation
  • Experience of dealing with the public in contentious situations
  • An understanding of the finances in healthcare organisations
