Band 6 Pharmacist - Derry area - £42k - HSCNI
I am currently accepting applications from pharmacists (with PSNI or eligible for pre-registration)to provide all aspects of a modern hospital pharmacy service.

Key Duties:
- Clinical and accuracy checking of prescriptions & dispensed medicines within the pharmacy and wards.
- Communicate recommendations on drug therapy to doctors, nurses and other professionals.
- Receive, store and supply controlled drugs in accordance with the Misuse of Drugs Act and Trust Policy.
- Collaborate with other pharmacists and senior technicians in prioritisation of workload.
- Supervise the aseptic process and perform final release checks on aseptically prepared products as an accredited product approver, if required.

Essential Criteria

• MPharm in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI), or eligible for membership
• Right to Work in UK.

Salary
Band 6 - £35,400 to £42,618 per annum (+ enhanced holiday pay + pension & discount benefits)
