Band 7 - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00

Hours: Full time (37.5hrs/week)

Job description:

• Undertake the intravenous administration of all diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals and drugs used in the practice of Nuclear Medicine as prescribed in the legislation and SOPs
• Be accountable for the adherence to all SOPs. Respond to scheduling demands from patients and referrers for all Nuclear Medicine studies in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Assess patient and referrer requirements and adapt procedures (in consultation with clinicians) to ensure individual needs of each patient are met.
• Take responsibility for patient consent, identification and relevant clinical details is obtained prior to commencement of imaging, in accordance with Trust and professional legislation.
