Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Community CAMHS team.
The contract will run for an initial period of 6 months with the likelihood of extension.
Job Purpose: Band 8a Clinical Psychologist
Pay Rate: £38.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus
Location: Sutton
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Contract: 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct specialised assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for young children and their families.


• Manage treatment plans and provide expert advice to multidisciplinary teams.


• Ensure thorough risk assessment and effective communication of findings.


• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.


• Receive and provide regular clinical supervision.


• Facilitate training and provide supervision to junior staff.


• Contribute to service development and policy evaluation.


• Foster a conducive culture for patient care and professional growth.


• Utilise research to support evidence-based practice.


• Undertake research activities and provide guidance to colleagues.


• Complete mandatory training and engage in continuous professional development.


• Participate in annual reviews and personal development planning.

Requirements

• Professional registration with HCPC.


• Experience in working with children and young adults


• Ability to work flexibly within a community setting, including the capacity to travel as needed.
  Access to a car or reliable transportation is essential.
