This is a fantastic opportunity for a current 8a or experienced band 7 Cardiac Physiologist to further their career at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Barts Health Trust is currently the largest NHS Trust in England and encompasses four hospitals based in the centre and East of London. The Trust is comprised of the Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, The Royal London, Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospitals. We also help provide cardiac physiology services at University College London Hospital.
We are currently seeking a forward thinking, dynamic and motivated individual to support the Cardiac Science Leads in delivering a quality assurance across our CRM services across Barts Health. The post will comprise of clinical and management responsibilities with expertise in cardiac rhythm management being essential. The post-holder will also have the opportunity to lead on several aspects of governance as we drive from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’.
St Barts is a 10-lab cardiology service with 5 of these operating in EP and devices, and 5 in intervention. We also run 6 device follow-up rooms and one of the largest remote monitoring services in the Europe. There are 10 echo rooms including specialist services of stress echo and TOE. There is a significant GUCH echo and EP service.
We have a supportive environment for training and development and attendance at National Conferences. You will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with this grade to contribute fully to the improvement and advancement of the service.
