Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8b Clinical Psychologist for a LOCUM contract supporting Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Adults with Physical Health conditions. The contract will run for an initial period of 12 months with the likelihood of extension.

Pay Rate: 40.00 LTD p/h + 250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus
Location: Nottingham
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Contract: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible)
The post holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Physical Health Team and provide Psychological Assessments and 1:1 treatment to service users with a variety of Physical and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to adults with Intellectual Disabilities and multiple diagnoses/complex presentations (eg trauma, attachment difficulties, ASD, personality disorder) including diagnostic assessment, neuropsychological assessment, psychological interventions, consultation, research and service evaluation.
- To lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of psychological interventions with adults with ID and complex presentations. This may include the delivery of direct individual or group interventions, and indirect consultation and reflective teams' sessions.
- To take the lead on project work in line with current structure of the IDD psychology service as delegated to by the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
- To provide management and/or clinical supervision to qualified, trainee and Assistant Psychologists as delegated by the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist and continue to develop highly specialist clinical and professional skills.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- Clinical Psychology Doctorate or equivalent
- Substantial Mental Health experience working with adults
