Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for full time, temp to perm Machine / Bandsaw Operatives to join our specialist metal stockholder client.Job role responsibilities:Operating Band Saws and circular saws to cut different materials to specific sizes based on customer ordersLoading different metals onto an automatic feed bar and saw platesAdhering to health and safety on site36 hour working week over 4.5 days (Monday – Friday)Overtime available paid at time and a half Monday – Saturday, double time on Sunday’s and Bank HolidaysHours and pay:Days: Monday-Thursday 6am-2.30pm & Friday 6am-10amAfters: Monday-Thursday 1.30pm-10pm & Friday 2pm-6pm£11.50ph starting rate, increasing once taken on permanent and passing probationary periodBenefits (once taken on permanent):Matched pension continuation up to 6% (after qualifying period)Death in service benefits for dependants (after a qualifying period, and subject to pension membership)Virtual 24/7 GP service (subject to pension membership)Occupational sick pay benefits after completion of probation period33 days holiday (25 + 8 bank holidays) raising to 36 days holiday after 5 years full service (28 + 8 bank holidays)Corporate uniform provided, including safety boot allowanceNext stepsHit apply and one of the Thorn Baker team will be in touch within 24 hours.Visit the company and have a walk round before you start!CHE01
