SalaryA leading premium care home in Dalkeith is now looking for a Care Assistant with some prior elderly care experience to join their staff bank , which will give you the option to pick up shifts as and when you want.
This home specialises in nursing and dementia care for older adults and was built with a keen focus on making the home as accessible and comfortable as possible for residents with frailty, physical disability, and memory-related needs. Surrounded by Dalkeith's woodland greenery and rich history, residents are fully supported to maintain their skills, independence, and social inclusion while enjoying all the finer things on offer.
By joining the staff bank , you'll being ensuring each resident gets the support they need even when there are absences (such as due to illness or annual leave).
From assisting with daily living, to spending some quality one-to-one time, to helping with some planned activities, you'll help each resident to live well in a warm and compassionate place.
This is a bank position for a Care Assistant (ad-hoc shifts) .
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) Previous experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
* ( Desirable ) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
