Job description

Job Purpose

Working within a performance management and continuous improvement framework the post holder will strive to exceed the expectations of the East Ayrshire Leisure Strategy and Delivery Plan and in doing so promote and recognise the importance of people in delivering our vision and values. Key duties of this post include, but not limited to: 1. Provide a personal welcome to visitors to Museum Venues, giving an overview of the building and display, and users of the library.2. Undertake a wide range of administrative duties, liaising with external contractors and internal departments to maintain building standards.3. Undertake training to/and ensure all health and safety procedures are delivered and maintained, with respect to staff and visitor safety, and building compliance.4. Assist colleagues with preparing and delivering our special events and activities.5. Assist with the day to day operational set up and delivery of key activities such as BookBug and school tours. Rate of Pay

Rate of Pay - £13.59 per hour. Hours of Work - As and when required basis
