We are recruiting to a variety of roles working as part of an innovative MDT. You will be working for Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust with your base at either The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital or The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the care of patients enabling them to step down to their normal place of residence faster.
You will be an experienced health care Support Worker with a Level 2 QCF Diploma in Clinical Healthcare support or a Level 2 NVQ in Healthcare Health & Social Care or a Level 2 in Health & Social Care (NVQ, QCF, RQF)
There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, specific to your individual needs. Training will be provided to ensure you have the required core skills and skills set specific to your area of work and y ou will need to successfully complete 15 Care certificate modules and practical competency assessment, within a set agreed timescale.
To provide holistic and person-centred care and support community patients in an acute setting.
A Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) is a core member of the team delivering personal care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate care.
To carry out a range of non-clinical healthcare tasks, under the direct supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner. Provide compassionate care, to agreed quality standards and in accordance with Trust values.
