We're looking for bank Radiographerss to join our Imaging team at the Harborne Hospital. The Harborne Hospital is a brand new, state-of-the-art, £100 million hospital built from partnership between University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and HCA Healthcare UK, located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Campus, Birmingham. Once opened it will be providing a comprehensive range of services - including complex care with facilities including 50 inpatient beds, 16 day case beds and 4 state-of-the-art theatres. We're bringing world class consultants and leading healthcare professionals together in a truly impressive, modern facility to help us deliver the best treatment pathways to the midlands.
We have reached an exciting stage in our recruitment journey where we are now looking for Radiographers to join our Bank in readiness for The Harborne Hospital opening to patients in January 2024.
As a Radiographer you will...
- Provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing the relevant imaging procedures.
- Undertake all examinations efficiently and to a high standard ensuring safety of patients at all times
- Participate in the out of hours on-call and extended days (by rota)
- Assist in development and promotion of the Diagnostic Imaging service
- Assist with the booking of some appointments and work closely with the Radiologists
- Ensure that all personnel entering the scanning room are screened and deemed to be safe
- Perform the daily scans in IR and the Hybrid Imaging Lab
What you'll bring...
- DCR(R) or BSc in Radiography
- HCPC Registered
- Extensive experience in relevant modality
- Specialise in one or more of the following areas: Interventional/ Hybrid/Cath Lab
