Job Title: Bank Reconciliations Clerk

Our client:
Dynamic and collaborative business based in Dudley are looking to appoint an experienced Bank Reconciliations Clerk. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bank Reconciliations Clerk to join their finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, working closely with the accounting team to resolve issues promptly.
- Record and categorise banking transactions in the company's accounting system.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for reconciliation purposes.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports related to Bank Reconciliations.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation of reconciliation activities.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
