The Opportunity
As a member of our bank team you will be able to choose the hours which suit you the best and keep free any time you wish to block off for family or personal reasons! Also, if you do ever see a permanent position that you wish to pick up you will be in the best position to take advantage of it!
Some of your duties would be as follows
- Supporting the occupants to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our occupants in tasks and activities

About Us
Acorn Education, as part of Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Bank Residential Childcare Worker to join our teams in the Shropshire area.
The Birches is a 4 bed accommodation offering support to young people aged 7-18 years with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. We strive to adhere by our philosophy of care and, our therapeutic provision by offering young people the chance to live and play on their own or in groups appropriately supervised by adults, thus allowing them to understand the importance of boundaries, structure and negotiation whilst giving young people a childhood.
We are within commuting distance of Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Walsall and other surrounding towns and villages.
Our accommodations are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we look after and for everyone in our team!
