What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to a recruit a Bank physiotherapist to join our Bank Team, with a competitive pay rate.
As an autonomous practitioner within a multidisciplinary team, the Bank Specialist physiotherapist will assess, treat and manage their own caseload.
The role will form the highly effective, innovative and evidenced based therapy provision across all inpatient services, working with the Therapy team in the specialist areas.
As bank staff you will be supported by the senior therapy team to ensure an effective and through induction to CCL, ensuring that you have the correct skills and resources available to be able to perform your duties.
This is a Bank role for weekend shifts only: 8:00 - 16:00 or 10:00 - 18:00

Job Responsibilities:
Be legally and professionally responsible for all aspects of your work including safe and effective management of you clinical and non-clinical caseloads
Effectively apply clinical reasoning to assess, progress, adapt and treat patients seeking guidance at appropriate times to ensure safe and effective care
Be able to identify risk within clinical setting including deteriorating patients and potential safety issues around care and discharge and communicate this effectively with support as appropriate.
Maintain high levels of professionalism at all times including high levels of communication verbal, non-verbal, written and alternative (Use of interpreter as appropriate) with all stakeholders
Take a proactive lead in using routine outcome measures to improve patient care
Keep informed of evidence, changes to practice, relevant research and guidance to discuss at regular opportunities to progress and develop own/MDT practice
Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work, ensuring a high standard of care and actively encourages and motivates others to do the same
Be actively involved in appropriate and discussed audit and research activities within the department, supporting the therapy leadership team with departmental strategies and priorities
What we need from you?
Degree in Physiotherapy
Post-graduation experience and education in a variety of inpatient specialties including orthopedics, respiratory, neurological and general surgical specialties
Evidence of continuous professional/academic development relevant to clinical field
Current registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A minimum of 12 months experience as a registered physiotherapist in an acute hospital setting
Evidence of a broad base of registered physiotherapy experience across specialties including orthopedics, surgical and medical specialties, rehabilitation
Experience of participation on on-call and emergency respiratory physiotherapy provision including overnight and weekend rotas - desirable
Evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team including external multi agency
Experience of discharge planning, referral provision and use of outcome measures
Effective and adaptable communication using a variety of verbal and written techniques to the needs of the patient, family, carer and wider MDT
Demonstrate safe and effective respiratory and manual handling skills including effective application of respiratory techniques/specialist therapeutic handling techniques and use of equipment including in the on-call environment.
Physical Requirements:
To be able to lead and assist in rehabilitation/manual handling of complex and potentially dependent patients with appropriate equipment including specialist robotics and compliance with manual handling policies
To work in an inpatient neurorehabilitation/ICU environment with potential interruptions such as acutely deteriorating patients requiring urgent review, emotionally challenging scenarios requiring intense focus and frequent exposure to potentially unpleasant materials such as bodily fluids.
