Banksman Slinger

To work on a biotech site in Billingham, UK, we need a Banksman Slinger to start immediately.
You will join the logistics / warehouse team on site.
Our clients’ electrical work on site includes containment, cable installation, lights, sockets etc so any applicants with some electrical knowledge will be at an advantage.

Our client is a leading engineering contracting company providing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection & maintenance solutions to their clients worldwide.
Responsibilities
Directing the movement of vehicles on a work site
Recommending and laying out safe, on-site traffic systems
Providing clear, correct and safe directions to Plant Operators
Must have excellent communication skills (English language)
Must be flexible - willing to do labouring, cleaning & other duties as required
You will work under & report to the Logistics Manager
Required
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
CSCS card
IPAF (can be obtained beforehand)
Manual Handling (can be obtained beforehand)
Working At Heights (can be obtained beforehand)
Pay Rates
£18.00 p/hr gross Monday-Friday first 50 hours
£27.00 p/hr gross Monday-Friday over 50 hours
£27.00 p/hr gross Saturday
£31.50 p/hr gross Sunday
Hours
Mon-Friday 7.30am-5.30pm (10 hours with a 30-minute lunch unpaid – paid 9.5 hours)
Saturday & Sunday (as required)
Payroll
Our clients policy is that workers must either be PAYE or CIS through a FCSA accredited umbrella/payroll company.
Ltd Company won’t be an option
