To support the management team in delivering outstanding levels of quality, service and value for money. This includes direct drink preparation, providing drinks service and carrying out cleaning and restocking tasks. The post-holder will be expected to provide excellent customer care and contribute towards a successful operation, whilst ensuring adherence to legislation and CCR’s policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and welcome customers into the bar courteously.
- Greet and take orders from the customers.
- Serve alcoholic drinks like spirits, beer and wine to multiple customers.
- Assist and support bar managers in their day-to-day operational tasks.
- Maintain the premises of bar in neat and orderly manner.
- Initiate joyous customer service experiences through courteous Bar Assistant duties.
- To ensure that cash control systems are adhered to at all times.
- To help to ensure stock levels are maintained and rotated where necessary.
- To comply at all times with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the Company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Management of Chelmsford City Racecourse.

The ideal candidate:
- Experience of working within a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of personal integrity
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work outside normal offices hours, including evening, weekends and public holidays.
