SalaryKiwi Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fabulous bar in the centre of Chichester who are looking for a Bar Manager. The successful applicant will be encouraged to take ownership of the establishment and treat it with the same love and passion as the rest of the management team who have been growing and building this brand for the past 6 years.
Our client is looking for a driven, experienced and motivated Bar professional who has a passion for customer service and craft beer. With a very generous work shift pattern, (premises are closed Monday’s) you will only be required to work 40hrs per week and will include a day off over the weekend.
Responsibilities:
? Leading the establishment from the front and positively representing their unique brand
? Rota and run the shifts for the staff
? Ensure excellent service is provided
? Train and develop the bar team
? Create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers ensuring an ambient and engaging atmosphere for both customers and staff.
? Organise and clean the bar (including line cleaning)
? Stock management and ordering from our local suppliers
? Assisting with payroll through monthly rota reports
? Successful execution of events held at the premises
? Assisting with social media, replying to messages, emails and handling direct bookings that come in via the telephone.
Bar Manager Experience:
? Experience in restaurant/hospitality/bar management
? Full Clean Driving License(not essential)
? Personal Licence (a course can be taken)
? Good understanding or enthusiasm for craft beer and brewing
? Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Google Workspace/Outlook experience essential for rotas, emails, daily diary
Salary: Between £26 - £28k per annum dependent upon experience.
Hours: c40hrs per week and will include one day off at the weekend and Mondays off.
