Bar Staff/Floor Staff

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and customer-oriented Bar and Waiting Staff to join our team at a bustling restaurant in Lochgoilhead. As a Team member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment during their visit. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Work with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the bar area, restocking inventory, and securing the premises

Experience:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 45 per week
