Bar Staff/Waiter

Overview:

We are seeking experienced and customer-oriented individuals to join at our new italian restaurant. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their overall satisfaction.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Mix ingredients to create cocktails and other specialty drinks

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Collect payments and process transactions accurately

- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service

- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology

- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating change

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Knowledge of bar equipment, including glassware, mixers, and garnishes

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred

Salary: £9.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
