Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar Person to join our team. As a Bar Person, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring that our patrons have an unforgettable experience. You will also be responsible for stock ordering and stock rotation. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.

* Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.

* Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and supplies.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Take and process food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food to table accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service and support during busy periods.
• Contribute to creating a positive and energetic atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.
• Check stock order new stock to ensure bar is maintained fully stocked.
• Compare prices and negotiate competitive prices with suppliers.
• Work in conjunction with our Off Sales Manager and accounts to ensure stock replenishments are carried out in a timely manner and to ensure food and beverage cost control targets are maintained
• Meet or exceed the monthly drink profit margin target our prices to customer on a regular basis and ensure that margins are maintained.
• Previous experience working in a bar or similar hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: £11.50-£14.00 per hour
