Barista/Waitress

Job offer available: waitress/barista role

** REQUIREMENTS **

• 18+
• Available at least 2 weekends each month
• 2 weeks of training to be complete: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm 4pm-11:30pm) > 50% pay

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service

- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in beverage preparation

- Upsell additional items such as pastries and cake

- Handle card and cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records

- Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed

Experience

- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred

-Has experience using expresso pressing machines and milk frothing

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices

- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly manner

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

-Good at working under pressure and in fast-paced environments
