Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Bathroom Showroom - Assistant Manager.
We are looking for a motivated, sales orientated, customer focussed individual to manage a small team. Our client has a lovely Tile and Bathroom showroom, open to the public and trade, they require someone to:
- Lead by example and possess strong leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate staff and keep them focussed on customers and daily duties.
- Organise staff rota’s, manage holiday, sickness absence etc…
- Creation and maintenance of a loyal customer base and generating new and repeat business.
- Ensure the team take every opportunity to sell and upsell products.
- High level of customer focus providing excellent 1st class service
- Order and payment processing
- General stock control including lifting and handling stock.
- Ensure the showroom is always kept clean, tidy and products are well displayed.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience of managing a small team in a similar environment
- Experience working in Tiles or Bathrooms is essential.
- Friendly, professional, confident, and reliable
- Motivated and sales forward.
- Comfortable with some lifting and moving stock (nothing too taxing)
- Able to work 5 days a week Mon - Sat, work every Saturday with day in lieu during the week
