My client is a dynamic market leader within the motive power industry. They have a passion for service excellence which has contributed to their rapid growth within the last few years.
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Battery Operative to join our client's team on a permanent basis. As a Battery Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning and topping up motive power (Forklift) batteries. This role involves travel to client sites, ensuring that their batteries are well-maintained and operating at peak efficiency.
Example of Responsibilities:
- Cleaning battery cells
- Topping up lead acid batteries
- Reporting any visible battery faults
- Adhering to health & safety policies at all times
- Providing an excellent level of customer service
- Representing company in a positive manner
- Ensuring work area is kept clean at all times
- Working in a team environment
Essential skills:
- Full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points
- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel to client sites in various locations
- Experience in an engineering environment would be advantageous however not essential
- Must be available to interview on the interview date listed at the top of the advert
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
