Role: Business Development Manager EMEA - £50k-£70k

Location: Europe (London preferred but not essential)

Our client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire-suppression systems for industrial, machinery, and manufacturing sectors. The company specialises in high-pressure, water-mist technology called HI-FOG for land and marine applications, offering sustainable building and cold chain solutions.

Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding market presence across EMEA. Responsibilities include creating and nurturing client relationships, driving growth through strategic business development initiatives, identifying market opportunities, and developing sales strategies in collaboration with colleagues. This role will also involve preparing financial projections, attending industry events, delivering sales presentations, and staying up to date with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships in EMEA region.
  • Design and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase sales revenue.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies accordingly.
  • Meet existing and potential clients, fostering positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare financial projections and sales targets.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and identify new opportunities.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to clients.
  • Produce reports for management to drive business solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate customer needs into product development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Sales (business development), preferably in fire suppression, fire detection, or with a focus on data centers.
  • Sales-driven mentality.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies in EMEA.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills, able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the EMEA market and industry trends.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Interest in technology and product development.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with Data Centers.
