Beauty Therapy Lecturer
  • Salary: £18,814 - £26,237
  • Location: Harrow
  • Job Type: Part-time (21.6 hours per week)

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a passionate Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join the team. The successful candidate will be teaching across a variety of programmes, including City and Guilds Levels 2 and 3 and commercial courses. Our Clients dynamic learning environment boasts an industry-standard beauty salon, and we are committed to providing high-quality education and training in beauty therapy.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering high-quality teaching across a range of beauty therapy programmes, including full-time and evening courses.
  • Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards and the needs of learners.
  • Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in beauty therapy.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of courses and teaching practices.
  • Engaging with students to inspire and motivate them in their studies and career aspirations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the beauty salon and classroom settings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the Beauty industry.
  • Some teaching, training, or assessing experience in the field of Beauty Therapy.
  • Advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE, DET, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this, with support from the College.
  • Qualified assessor or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Experience or qualifications in Laser treatment are desirable but not essential.
