Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Contract type: Temporary, full time and part time (8:30am-3:30pm)
Pay Rate: £83-£95 a day

The provision is a dedicated educational facility providing support to students aged 5-11 years old with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students in managing their behaviours, fostering positive relationships, and creating a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs.
- Implement and monitor individualized behaviour plans, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of trust and security.
- Support students in developing essential life skills and coping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to create a holistic support system.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour incidents, and interventions.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience supporting children and/or adults with SEN and complex needs is essential.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions is essential.
- Level 2 Team Teach is essential, although this training can be offered by Veritas.
- Safeguarding training is essential, although this can be offered by Veritas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates must hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS upon registration.
- Have proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
