Behavior Support Assistant
Location: Reddish, UK
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviors, helping them to develop appropriate coping mechanisms and social skills.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual behavior plans.
- Monitor and record student behavior, progress, and incidents, maintaining accurate records.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with behavioral difficulties is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience when dealing with challenging situations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting the academic and emotional development of young people.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, or a related field is advantageous.
