Job description
The post holder will work across the Learning Disability Crisis Resolution Team (LDCRT) & Carrick 2 Assessment and Treatment Unit, Holywell Hospital. To provide a systematic, high quality and specialist Positive Behavioural Support assessment and intervention service for adults with a learning disability and behaviours of concern, who are inpatients in Carrick 2 or supported through the LDCRT, and to assist the Carrick 2 team / LDCRT in the management of same. To promote Positive Behaviour Support as an organisational , and provide practice leadership regarding the Positive Behaviour Support Competency Framework within the community/ inpatient setting, through completion of assessment and intervention, supervision, consultation and provision of training. To work in close liaison with carers and professional colleagues, providing in particular expert advice on behavioural assessments and interventions. To advise and assist the ward / LDCRT management team in carrying out audit, policy and service development and research within the service and, where agreed, to implement policy changes and service improvement initiatives in relation to Positive Behaviour Support. .
