BeMS Service – London - £60,000
A great opportunity for an experienced BeMS Engineer looking to take on a new challenge with a well-established controls company, working across multiple client locations in and around London.
The BeMS Service Engineer position
In this role, you will provide exceptional engineering and individual performance through excellent customer service. You will work within a team of engineers to improve and maintain, productivity and efficiency whilst contributing to a stable team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients by delivering effective service and support to the installed BEMS systems
- Identifying and rectifying issues which directly impact performance
- Delivering accurate on time reporting on daily activities
- Accurately identifying application faults and reporting these to clients
- Close liaison with Service Administrator for efficient delivery of work loads
- Identification of commercial opportunities for system improvement and enhancement
- Delivery against the key performance indicators and benchmarks
- 1st line 'out-of-hours' escalation support for clients
- 1st line escalation for Engineer’s technical issues
- Responsible for personal Health and Safety practices, including production of risk assessments
- Close liaison with clients to promote the company as a first-tier supplier of specialist services
- Work closely with clients to identify and promote carbon reducing energy efficient solutions within both the building controls and mechanical application sectors of their business
- Ensure clients are correctly and clearly updated on any medium and high priority recommendations made at the close of each visit.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience with Building Management Systems
- Experience with Trend, Tridium or ALC
- Able to fault find on complex HVAC applications
- Flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity
- Effective communicator
- Proven experience spent in a field service environment is desirable
- Good customer facing skills
- Numerate/fully IT literate
- Commercial awareness
Salary and Benefits Package
Impressive salary of £60,000, dependent on experience

As a BeMS Service & Support Engineer, you will need to be trustworthy, well presented and be able to work unsupervised. You will have good communication skills as well as a logical approach.
