Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 Per Annum (DOE)
Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious steel supplier in Bredbury who are looking to hire a skilled Bench Fitter on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Perform in-house bench fitting operations and techniques
- Understanding Quality procedures including route sheets
- Stamping procedures including traceability of components
- Basic grinding on abrasive wheels
- Use of measuring equipment
- Read engineering drawings & Geometric Tolerances
- Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety procedures
- Maintenance of equipment
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of hand tools & air tools
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Engineering Apprenticeship preferred but not essential
- Ensure good housekeeping
- Highly motivated
- Ability to work unsupervised on own initiative
Salary & Shift:
- 40 hours per week
- Days only
- Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm & Friday 7am to 1pm
- £29,000 - £30,000 Per Annum DOE
