SalaryWe are looking for experienced Bench Joiner to join busy environment in staircase manufacture.
Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures staircases
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials using rulers, tape measures, and marking gauges
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to cut and shape wood
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks on finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required standards
- Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden parts
Experience
- Previous experience as a joiner.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
