Applications are invited for the post of Bereavement Services Technician with the Bereavement Services Team. This post is to be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day provision of an efficient, comprehensive and empathetic Bereavement Service covering all aspects of burials and cremations at Herefordshire Council’s four cemeteries and Hereford Crematorium.
Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided, but the successful applicant will need to obtain the ICCM Crematoria Proficiency Certificate within a 6 month probationary period.
This role can be demanding and the applicant must have a sympathetic and empathetic demeanour, together with a polite, firm and diplomatic manner and the ability to communicate effectively.
