A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Waiter/essto join The Berkeley Café team at The Berkeley.

Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Michelin-starred dining in ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing and our Bamford Health Club & Spa.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Waiter/ess you will be providing a warm welcome and an excellent service experience to every guest and customer in The Berkeley Café. You will meet and greet guests and taking the drinks and food order for breakfast, lunch, Afternoon Tea and dinner, serving and clearing plates to the departmental operational standards

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Be familiar with the menu and beverage list and to be able to make recommendations accordingly.
• Welcome each guest in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with a memorable dining experience at The Berkeley.
• Take drinks and food order to the departmental standards and serve them correctly, providing the guest with the exact cutlery and Mise en place.
• Handle cash and credit cards after the guest has requested the bill, ensuring that all items are posted and the correct change/receipt will be handed out.
• Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
