WHAT TO EXPECT
Do you have experience in running PowerTrain System Testing?
Do you have knowledge of using INCA toolsets?
Do you have experience in data analysis and report writing?
The team is responsible for the powertrain works as a system and overall delivers the vehicle level attributes while the team simulates the whole vehicle.
Allows them to tell battery team exactly how many amps they need.
Move into the exciting phase of program.
Running test on rigs – have the powertrain on the rig to test easier.
Making sure they have plans in case.
They will be the ones conducting test.
This is working on the first ever electric range rover.
Will be taking the vehicle on track to make sure the car works to the best ability.
Range Rover BEV.
You will not be the sole test engineer.
Can learn from others and this means it is a team effort.
The main activity for this role is to ensure successful testing of the propulsion system on rigs and prototype vehicles. This includes liaising with the facilities team to properly build and commission rigs; post-processing data coming off the test properties to confirm pass/fail, writing a test report to document the evidence; triaging and resolving issues identified.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Support build and commissioning of prototype rigs to ensure fit-for-purpose and issues are triaged and resolved quickly.
Support and/or conduct testing of propulsion system test cases.
Post-process and analyse test data to confirm pass/fail against technical requirement.
Generate test report to document test pass/fail and justification.
Triage issues identified on prototype rigs and vehicles.
Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
