If so, we are expanding our Data Office team and have 2 opportunities to join us as BI Analysts in our Reporting team. You will join the team at a key time in our transformation and technology journey.

About the role
Putting home ownership within reach of more people has never been more important to Leeds Building Society and as such we are investing a huge amount into making sure our technology is fit for purpose and our ability to make timely and accurate decisions is unparalleled. These new roles will play a huge part in ensuring we're taking full advantage of the data we currently capture and building out our brand new Azure platform (Databricks, Power BI) to further our capabilities.

Reporting to the BI Reporting Team Leader, you will take developed and tested data through the reporting lifecycle to create and deliver compelling reports, visualisations and dashboards to support business decision making across the society.
What will you bring to the role?
- Prior experience of using an enterprise BI tool such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau or Qlik, whilst working in a BI or data role is essential.
- Strong data analysis and SQL skills.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems, often working with a degree of ambiguity, and with a strong attention to detail.
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills – ability to work cross-functionally to interpret, understand and document our stakeholders' requirements.
Desirable:
- Experience of using an enterprise data warehouse as a data source.
- Exposure to project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Waterfall) and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Experience of using Python or R for data analysis and/or machine learning.
- Prior experience of training users to self-serve using enterprise BI tools.
