SalaryI'm working with a small and growing family-run Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy, who are looking for a Business Intelligence professional with a strong background in Data Warehousing to join their team on a remote basis (with occasional travel to client site and team get-togethers).
The ideal candidate will come from a strong Business Intelligence Development background, with a track-record of designing and developing data warehousing solutions, and will have a keen interest in Azure technologies - ideally you will already have some experience with Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory.
You'll work across the entire client project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to solution design, development, implementation and providing end-user training and support. You'll do this as part of a close-knit technical team, working on varied projects which may include Power BI implementation, Data Engineering and Azure Data Migration, to give only a few examples.
With increased demand from their clients for Azure Data Platform services, this role would give you the opportunity to really develop skills with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics and Databricks!
As such, this would be a brilliant opportunity for a seasoned BI Developer to take a step into Consultancy, and work on some really varied and cutting-edge projects as part of a truly supportive and progressive company.
Requirements:
We are looking for most (but not necessarily all) of the below experience:
- Advanced SQL & T-SQL development skills
- Data Warehouse design & development experience
- SSIS - experience designing packages
- SSAS - experience designing Tabular Models
- Power BI - experience designing reports with use of DAX
- Any experience with Azure would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
