Our client, a leading healthcare organization based in Birkenhead, is seeking a talented BI Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about leveraging data to drive meaningful insights in the healthcare sector. As a BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable intelligence, contributing to the improvement of healthcare services and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust BI solutions using SQL Server, Excel (Macro level), and Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models and ETL processes.
• Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different systems and platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including macro-level development for automation and data manipulation.
• Expertise in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., HL7, HIPAA) is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
