Our client, an established and reputable multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, are currently seeking a Bid Assistant to join their office in the City of London. Our client provides a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community. The Bid Assistant will be providing administrative support to the Bid function carrying out a wide range of support tasks associated with the proper functioning and smooth running of a professional bid team and office.
It is envisaged that the ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar role with good administrative experience and the ability to work well within a team. Construction knowledge is also beneficial and experience with InDesign is essential. This opportunity also offers a very attractive package and a genuine scope for career progression. Bid Assistant Position Overview
- Job Type: Permanent
- Office Location: City of London
- Start Date: Immediate - happy to wait for notice periods
- Learn and maintain Bid Team 'Activity Tracker'.
- Liaise with specialists such as HR Manager, Finance Manager, Team Leads etc as necessary and directed to obtain any additional information required and in preparation of more detailed and non-standard questions.
- Learn in-house management system 'Manager' CRM module and record/log bid team related opportunities in coordination with updating the activity Tracker
- Apply for and register all suitable Bid's following agreement with relevant Director or Partner and download Bid documentation.
Bid Assistant Position Requirements
- Must have previous experience in a similar role
- InDesign software experience is essential
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry terminology (preferred).
- Working knowledge and proficiency of all Microsoft applications, in particular Word, Excel, and Project.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with proven good interpersonal skills and flexible attitude to work and working with colleagues in a co-operative manner.
