Job title: Bid Capture Manager

Salary: Circa £54,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Support both the Bids and Proposals & Strategy Lead in efficient running of the team and project delivery managers within the product line to produce compelling customer proposals
- Maintaining excellent customer relations
- Taking ownership of specific bids, campaigns and related tasks
- Develop and maintain a project schedule that embraces all elements of the bid/campaign and managing the project / bid team and personnel to ensure all milestones / objectives are achieved
- Reporting – routine and ad-hoc including support to new business budget management
- Supporting the implementation of best practice business winning reviews
- Using project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation actions
Your skills and experiences:
- A proven track record in Bid Management, ideally in an engineering development environment with awareness of Capture, Commercial and Financial skills with a high level of numeracy
- Proven ability to take ownership, motivate, influence, and manage people effectively
- You will have solid problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Understanding of business development processes and strategies
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is advantageous
