Reed Procurement are working with a local authority in Norfolk to recruit a Bid writer/Grant and Funding Officer to their team. This position will be Temporary.
Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Funding and Grants Officer to join the team on a temporary basis.
The Funding and Grants Officer will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and managing funding opportunities that align with the local authorities development program. This part-time, temporary role involves working collaboratively with various stakeholders to secure resources for key projects and initiatives.
• Grant Identification and Research:
Conduct thorough research to identify relevant funding sources, grants, and partnership opportunities.
• Keep abreast of local, regional, and national funding programs and trends.
• Proposal Development:
Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality grant proposals in accordance with Council priorities and guidelines.
Collaborate with Officers, Councillors, leaseholders, and stakeholders to gather necessary information for grants and funding bids.
• Application Management:
Ensure the timely submission of grant applications, adhering to all guidelines and deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of submitted applications, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
Providing copies of submissions and actions required the Officers and Clerk.
• Relationship Building:
Cultivate positive relationships with funding bodies, community organisations, and potential donors.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance funding opportunities.
• Grant Compliance and Reporting:
Monitor and ensure compliance with grant requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the Project Officer to collect and prepare documentation for reporting purposes.
• Budget Oversight:
Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets related to funded initiatives.
Collaborate with finance officer and project Officer to ensure accurate financial reporting.
