Bid Manager (0354)

• We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our dynamic team.at Octavius Regional Civil Engineering

  As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the bid process and ensuring successful submissions, maximising opportunities for Octavius and our valued customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a team of authors in creating value propositions that delight our customers. 

   

  You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

  • Understand customer needs and tailor offers accordingly. 

  • Build strong relationships throughout the bid process and obtain feedback.

  • Deliver high-quality bids within established timelines.

  • Delegate tasks to the bid team and foster their development.

  • Establish relationships with suppliers and specialists.

  • Seek feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Make informed decisions on bid progression and compliance.

  • Prepare bid programs/schedules and provide resource guidance.

  • Chair bid meetings and reviews as needed.

  • Develop robust commercial submissions, including pricing.

  • Monitor bid progress and review technical submissions.

  • Present tender proposals during adjudication meetings.

  • Ensure smooth transition of successful bids to the project team.

  • Experience working on complex bids

  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including awareness of current techniques.

  • Familiarity with ICE, NEC, and JCT forms of contract.
