We are seeking a dedicated Bid Manager to join a well established bids function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure winning bids, managing bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, and streamlining processes to improve bid quality.
Please note this position is hybrid, and will require 3 days per week in office

Our client is a leading player in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry with a workforce of over 1,000 employees. Based in Blacburn, Lancashire, they have a growing Bids team of 10+ team members, and are looking for a new Bid Manager to join the team.
Description
- Manage and lead the bid process from start to finish.
- Develop winning bid strategies and solutions.
- Coordinate the bid team and manage stakeholder inputs effectively.
- Streamline processes to improve bid quality and success rate.
- Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid.
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
- Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity.
Profile
A successful Bid Manager should have:
- A degree in a business-related field.
- 4+ years experience in Bids related positions.
- Experience in industries including engineering, construction is desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Proven capability to manage complex bids and effectively handle pressure.
- Superb communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Offer
- An attractive salary of between 50,000 - 55,000 per annum.
- Generous holiday allowance of 25 days.
